General information

Pursuant to municipal sanitation ordinances, Lyndhurst's Department of Recycling and Waste Management administers weekly curbside collection of designated recyclable materials, including but not limited to glass receptacles, metallic cans, paper products, and corrugated cardboard. In accordance with seasonal regulations, effective April 1st through December 31st, the collection of organic yard waste such as grass clippings, fallen leaves, and other biodegradable refuse is authorized. Additionally, our department is equipped to manage the removal of specialized items, namely household appliances, electronic equipment, concrete fragments, and scrap metal.
