Trash & Recycling Collection

Regular residential trash collection occurs weekly, employing city-issued rolling carts. Residents are supplied with either a 65- or 95-gallon green trash cart and a 65-gallon blue recycling cart. A larger recycling cart or an additional one may be requested at no extra charge. Trash and recycling carts must be placed on the curb by 7:00 a.m. on collection day, and any missed collections due to tardiness or unacceptable items are not regarded as missed services by the city.
